The Student to Professional Program was operated by Study & Stay PEI from 2022 to 2025. This program is currently suspended and the information below is for information only.

The Student to Professional Program runs from January to June with the intent of recruiting students who enter their final year of study to the Study & Stay PEI Program in September.

In the 2023-2024 school year, we received 100 student applications to the Student to Professional Program. 86 students were accepted into the program, and we started off the year with a virtual orientation in January.

The following sessions and workshops were conducted in the Student to Professional Program during the 2023-2024 school year:

1. Volunteering is a Work of Heart by Victoria Moura 
2. Work PEI Information Session by Daniel and Chelsey
3. Pathway to Professionalism: Crafting the Right Resumes, Cover Letters, and Tips to Navigate Workplace Culture Workshop by ASDA – Atlantic Student Development Alliance.

We open the Rural PEI Bus Tours, Pitch Yourself Workshop, and the Bridge to PEI Conference organized by Study & Stay to Student to Professional to introduce them to the Study & Stay PEI Program.

The Student to Professional Program focuses on building professional development, volunteering, and developing soft skills necessary to navigate the workplace.

The participants of the Student to Professional Program receive an e-certificate for their participation in the Student to Professional Program.
