Speed Mentorship Event
Looking for guidance and help with your career? Come and meet Alumni from the Study & Stay program who have built successful careers on PEI and find out … how they did it!
Date: Saturday, February 28, 2026.
Time: 10am to 12 noon.
Venue: Culinary Institute of Canada, 4 Sydney St, Charlottetown, PE C1A 1E9.
For 2 hours on Saturday morning, alumni from the Study & Stay program are happy to meet with you and talk about how they built a career on PEI. Alumni work in many different sectors from banking to health and in different positions from marketing to social care.
Alumni are also happy to talk about their experiences of settling on PEI, integrating into the community and a range of issues such as parenting, BIPOC community, moving to rural areas of PEI, 2SLGBTQ+ community etc.
At the Speed Mentorship Event you can select the people you want to meet and spend 5 to 10 minutes with them before moving to another person. You can ask questions about the sector they work in, what role they play, the types of careers available, internship or volunteer opportunities and any additional qualifications or training required for work in the sector. Don’t be afraid to ask for insights and guidance and use this occasion to learn about the PEI labour market and the opportunities that exist here.
It’s time to develop your network, learn from other newcomers and move your career forward! Click here to register.
