Construction Jobs PEI
Are you interested in getting a job in construction? This is one of the fastest growing sectors on PEI with many job opportunities available. Construction is regularly listed by the PEI Office of Immigration as an “Occupation in Demand”.
The Construction Association of PEI is happy to welcome Study & Stay students to their training site at 40 Enman Crescent, Charlottetown, PE C1E 1E6. The staff and instructors will provide information about the types of jobs available and the skills in high demand. They will also give you a realistic idea of what the job demands, the conditions of work and the type of career you can have in construction.
There are many different types of jobs available in the construction sector. Trades such as electricians, plumbers and carpenters etc., are always in high demand. The sector also needs engineers and mechanics in addition to accountants, project managers, HR staff etc. They are also looking for labourers who are willing to work in a physical environment and learn on the job – there are many training opportunities.
